Cefpodoxime Proxetil Dispersible Tablets

Yuvicef-100 is a broad-spectrum, third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic containing Cefpodoxime Proxetil as its active ingredient. It is available as dispersible tablets, making it easier to administer, especially for patients who have difficulty swallowing conventional tablets.

The dispersible formulation allows the tablet to be mixed with a small amount of water before oral intake, ensuring faster disintegration and convenient dosing.

Indications (Typical Uses)

Cefpodoxime Proxetil is commonly prescribed for the treatment of mild to moderate bacterial infections, including:

• Acute otitis media

• Pharyngitis and tonsillitis

• Sinusitis

• Community-acquired pneumonia

• Skin and soft tissue infections

• Urinary tract infections
